I just saw the marquee on SR-201 – the organic chicken feed is available now at IFA. I called for pricing and more information.
All are 50 pound bags:
Organic Layer Pellts $27.01
Organic Scratch $19.99
Organic Pullet Crumble $28.99
Organic Starter Crumble $34.99
These prices are pretty similar to what we were paying before when you add in the cost we paid per bag for shipping.
They didn’t have information on the computer for the percent protein, and I also would like to find out where it is coming from. I’ll try to pick up a bag of layer pellets this week to give it a try.
Here’s the address for the IFA Salt Lake Store:
1147 West 2100 South
Salt Lake City, UT
(801) 972-2122

How did you and the chickens like the organic IFA feed? Any new info about it?
http://www.fornazor.com offers some of the best organic feed around
Which products have you tried? Have you just ordered through the website? We used to order as a group from another distributor, but it was too much work for the individuals that were organizing it, and shipping becomes cost prohibitive if you’re not ordering large amounts. It would be nice if someone more locally made a good feed, but so far, our chickens seem to be LOVING the new organic feed from IFA.
